Diana Barragán is the founder and principal of The Woodlands Tax & Bookkeeping Inc., bringing over 25 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting and more than 17 years in federal and state tax preparation. With a strong foundation in financial accuracy, ethical practices, and a deep respect for the small business community, Diana has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor and compassionate professional.

After graduating from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, Diana launched her accounting career in Florida, quickly gaining hands-on experience in both private and public accounting. In 2017, she followed her entrepreneurial spirit and founded her own accounting firm. Her expertise and commitment to excellence led her to become a partner at a well-established Houston-area accounting firm in 2019. Following the passing of her business partner in 2023 and the firm’s dissolution, Diana continued her mission independently serving clients with integrity, professionalism, and personalized attention.

Diana specializes in small business accounting, tax planning, and tax preparation for both businesses and individuals, including multi-state and international clients. Her clients value her for her thoroughness, transparency, and honest guidance qualities rooted in her strong business ethics and deep personal faith.

In addition to running her firm, Diana serves as the treasurer of a nonprofit organization that supports families of children battling cancer, reflecting her passion for giving back to the community.

Diana is a proud mother of two daughters and the loving owner of two dogs. Her faith plays a central role in her life and business philosophy, and she believes that God has a perfect plan for each person.
